KLASSES ARE CIRCUIT TRAINING WHERE 8-12 STATIONS ARE SET UP.
THEY WILL HELP YOU BURN CALORIES, GAIN & TONE MUSCLE, IMPROVE
MOBILITY & FLEXIBILITY AND INCREASE YOUR STAMINA & STRENGTH.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY WILL INCREASE YOUR ENERGY, IMPROVE SLEEP, MANAGE STRESS AND HELP YOU TO FEEL MORE BODY CONFIDENT.
KOACH KATRINA programs each KLASS specifically for those who sign up.
This ensures that everyone in that group is capable of the workout since she gets to know each person's abilities, limitations and goals. This helps beginners feel able and pushes those who may be advanced. The KLUB is a body positive space where Katrina's goal is to show
that strength & health has no size.
The KLUB is Koach Katrina's Community Center. She offers many wellness services however her most popular program is her Group Circuit Training - Fitness Program. Katrina is a personal & group trainer who specializes in strength training for all abilities. Her program is unique as moms and dads may bring their babies, toddlers or children to KLASSES with them for no extra fee !
The KLUB is 2300 sqft and has enough space for everyone to be in comfortably. KLASS sizes are a max of 12 (sign-up is required so Katrina can tailor each session to who is coming). There is a large play area with exersaucers, toys, books, colouring, play mats, a tv with vhs/dvd compatibility, video games, puzzles, wall chalk board and more. She has set this area up to keep the kids busy so the parents can have some 'me time'. There are moments where the children wander towards the group/ join the group and that is totally okay. The KLUB is open concept so at every moment you can see your child.
Katrina is able to keep the entire room safe. She has made her gym feel like a home and has her eyes on the kids as much as she does on her KLIENTS. She's here to help parents workout when finding a sitter may be hard/impossible. There are others who attend who don't have children so the crowd is a mix of ages, genders and abilities, but all know to expect little ones around. Although she does care for her KLIENTS equally, she does hold a special space in her heart for helping mothers.
Physical fitness is so important to our overall health, especially mental health. She has identified that moms & dads need support and she is there to help them work on their fitness, so they can tackle the rest of their day with more energy, patience, strength, endurance and confidence.
And why all the K's you may ask, well it's just representative that Katrina does things a little differently. She goes that extra step to try to impact people's lives and definitely doesn't fit the mold of society's expectations of a personal trainer or gym. She plays by her own rules and challenges others to do the same and be their most authentic self.
